The requirement in the Natural and Mathematical Sequence is intended to inspire an interest in the universe and to explore scientific inquiry. Students take 6 quarters in this sequence. The options are below:
1. at least two quarters of physical sciences; at least two in the biological sciences; and at least one in the mathematical sciences; and one additional course in the physical sciences, biological sciences, or mathematical sciences.
2. the four-quarter natural sciences sequence; at least one in themathematical sciences; and one additional course in the physical sciences,biological sciences, or mathematical sciences.
